Selma Lagerlöfs Juletestamentet er med Det lille Turneteater i rigtig følsomme og smukke hænder. En tid for 2017 år siden bliver poetisk portrætteret, med en enkel scenografi, i en 1 mands forestilling, hvor dukker, lys, lava , engle og meningen med livet berøres, gennem en anderledes fortalt jesusfortælling, der virkelig får en til at mindes julens og ikke mindst livets vigtigste essens – kærligheden. For historien om Marias vandring gennem det golde landskab, med soldatter og gribbe, og Josef støtte på ryggen af æslet, frem til fødslen i stalden – er i virkeligheden en af verdens aller vigtigste og smukkeste fortællinger. Symbolik og billeder er så smukt skabt og lige så vi tabes , træder skuespilleren frem og fortæller om de forskellige scenarier vi lige har set – et magisk øjeblik- og enkel og netop poetisk magi kan stykket virkelig,
De 4 hereer : Skuespiller Peter Holst, musiker Bebe Risenfors. Instrukttør Jacques Matthiessen, Scenograf Kristian Knudsen, har skabt en lille magisk forestilling, der i den grad fortjener at blive set og vist på skoler og talt om med voksne bagefter – for hvad end man tror på Gud eller ej, så er det kærligheden og livet det vigtigste – og en utrolig stor del af vores kultur. En forestilling der på ingen måde handler om nisser gaver eller mad, men om en kæmpe del af vores kulturarv og vigtigste budskab – om tiden om til Jesu fødsel.
Så absolut – se Det lille Turneteaters Juletestamentet- og har du et lidt mindre barn med , så tag det på skødet, for stykket er lidt uhyggeligt af os til og alle os voksne var virkelig rørte og taknemmelige, for at blive mindet om netop skønheden og vigtigheden i fortællingen her.
